Build 26300.8493 finally brings movable and smaller taskbar options to Windows 11! Doesn't seem to be in Feature Flags yet, so vivetool to the rescue for the unlucky.

New taskbar positions: vivetool /enable /id:59213768

Small taskbar: vivetool /enable /id:61090762

Improved/semantic Windows Search in File Explorer, Settings etc. is now rolling out to Copilot+ PCs in Dev with build 26120.2992. (Complete with eye candy.) If you didn't get lucky with the gradual rollout, run this vivetool command:

More File Explorer changes: when opening desktop folders/external folder links, they'll open in new tabs in an existing window by default. Currently, they just open in a new window. (ID is disabled by default, Beta 22635.4515.)

First look at Windows 11's upcoming WinUI AutoPlay dialog revamp in dark mode!

Now lets you choose whether you want to take an action always or just once, and it will now open in the centre of the screen as it last did in Windows 7, instead of in the top right.
Modern, WinUI AutoPlay dialog in Windows 11, with some options for "Elements (E:)", including configure storage settings, open folder to view files and take no action.

Open command prompt as administrator then navigate to the directory where the extracted ViVeTool is located then run this command:
vivetool /disable /id:41868508

Now restart the PC!

The network icon in the system tray's context menu and the Wi-Fi quick settings page in Windows 11 are getting buttons to let you quickly run a network speed test. (Takes you to Bing to do the speed test.)

Hidden in build 26376 (out for server): all of the options in the old mouse properties dialog are now available in Settings, including pointer trails, pointer shadow & pointer image customization!

+ Enhance pointer precision/pointer speed, already there, get new/updated icons.

Here's a demo of the emoji and more button in the system tray, which now works in Beta build 22635.4655, with the show only while typing behavior! Tooltip lets you know about the keyboard shortcut, and you can right click it to get to taskbar settings. (vivetool /enable /id:48504539)
