All of my GBA/DS games disappeared when I divorced and moved to the other side of the country, so I bought a new copy of Twisted a year or two ago. The gryo/vibrate unit is getting old and feels a little mushy. I found instructions for replacing it online. Maybe I'll do it eventually

oh, to be clear, "silent mode" still allows vibrations 😂 it's basically how you turn on vibrate-only mode. and for the vast majority of apps, you still hear audio fine when the phone is in silent mode; it only silence ringers and alerts and such

That's actually interesting how the 2 OSes operate so differently. My phone stays on vibrate for any notifications, but I can still hear audio. I haven't really tried it fully on silent. I miss enough stuff with it on vibrate, but it's better than constant notifications.

iPhones don't have separate volume sliders for alerts and media? Makes me even happier I've never had an iPhone. The biggest issue that isn't even an issue is that Do Not Disturb gets turned off if I want to listen to something, but my DND only starts at 10pm. It's on vibrate the rest of the time.

yeah i got the Bass Knob, going from the accord/civic which both had actual powered subs and would vibrate my mirrors to the mini/focus has been brutal
