I love Strats. My favorite is an American Special body in the sunburst finish. Thinner finish too. But the neck… is a gorgeous all parts 1 piece maple neck I got years that sat unused for 16 years. 22 frets, 10” radius but still meaty neck. 2 Pure Vintage 59s and a Duncan SSL5.

My friend gave me a broken amp he found on the side of the road. A Roland Bolt 60. Solid state preamp tube power amp basically the same as in a fender vibrolux. I got it working and it sounds really good. Needed a power switch and an op-amp in the reverb circuit. Probably needs new tubes. #guitarsky

It’s an old vintage amp. I’ve only gotten to use it at other people’s studios. I think it’s a Vibrolux without vibrato? Kind of halfway between a Champ and a Princeton.

Detta är åkeriets gamla kontor, i (kall)garagebyggnaden. Har egen luft/luft-värmepump och säkerhetsfönster/dörr samt inkommande elcentral. Extralång elektronikarbetsbänk längs ena sidan, datorbord/studio, pelarborr och snickarbänk på andra sidan. Hyllor på alla väggar.

I had 3 fender silverface amps. A 1970 Bantam Bass amp that I replaced that weird Yamaha speaker with a JBL D130-F. A mid 1970s Champ amp and a late 1970s Vibrolux Reverb.

I don’t usually get excited about movie sequels, but I have a feeling that the new Spinal Tap film is going to be a gooder! I saw the original at Caprice Theatre in Nanaimo when I was 14, and immediately went hope and painted the number eleven on the volume knob of my Vibrolux amp with liquid paper!
