#Viburnam
Southern arrowwood(Viburnum dentatum), an attractive understory shrub native most of eastern US, attracts pollinators with its white flower heads & birds love its berries. It's a larval food source for the spring azure butterfly(Celastrina ladon). greengardeningmatters.blogspot.com/2025/09/sout...

Since seeing your message I've looked at your mum's makoviychyk again to see all the flowers she's added. Viburnam is a pretty addition. We have a spring flowering one in our garden that is gorgeous.

Guelder-rose down our High Weald lane. Not a rose but a member of the Honeysuckle family and a viburnum (Viburnam opulus) like the Wayfaring-tree which is also an AWI. ‘Guelder’ is apparently after a cultivar developed in that Dutch province a long time ago…

2025 Reflections 💚 I love this pamphlet. One poem makes me want to keep writing about my own ancestors. Always contemplating their immigration to this country where I now live. Also, as ready for the flock to take me as I ever was! In my wildest dreams, I could go straight away. Anywhere, anytime.🪶
