And they actually inlcuded Tseng's chapter. I was sure they were gonna skip that. Does this mean Tseng will actually get an extended character arc in Revelation?

The hug betwen Veld and Elfé was nice to see.

But no VinVeld reunion, boo :(

don’t mind me i’m just thinking about a re4 VinVeld AU, their combat styles as Turks I feel like maybe they would be very similar to Leon’s and Ada’s

Every time I go away, my brain revives the VinVeld+Tseng brain worms. I know this snippet was posted back on the bird app, just bringing it back here to tickle some brains again.

Post-OG, post Sephiroth. No one else taps into this side of Tseng like Vincent does.

A snippet of fanfiction. * "You've seen what I can become, you've seen what I am. Veld would never have wanted me like this." "He would've wanted you in any way he could've had you," Tseng hisses, surprising both of them with the venom in his voice. Because he knows what it's like. He knows what it's like for these stupid people to have terrible things done to them and for them to think of themselves as monsters, when really nothing could've been further from the truth. They were just humans. Damaged, scarred humans. "He wouldn't have cared. He missed you," he says, emotional heavy in his voice, "So much." *

Veld's expression turns angry. "...Did HOJO do this to you?" Vincent lowers his eyes and says nothing. Vincent lowers his head, hiding the lower half of his face in his mantle and further obscuring his eyes behind his hair. "...I'm sorry. I can't talk about this." Veld looking at Vincent with a sadder expression, eyes slightly wide and brow creased. Vincent is still speaking from out of frame. "I'm here because I deserve it."

Since compression killed the quality on the compiled version, here's that #FF7BC Chapter 19 short in higher resolution. Vincent Valentine and Veld, changing my brain chemistry. [1/2] #FF7 #vinveld 💌🎯
Veld of the Turks standing against a dimly lit background; he looks surprised, confused, and slightly upset. "How...? You look just like—You still look the same as before you disappeared." Vincent Valentine standing upright with a neutral expression. "The passage of time no longer affects me." Vincent looks away, his expression turning slightly pensive. "It doesn't matter how many years have passed."

VinVeld is a rarepair in the best of circumstances, but it's still my core OTP for Vincent Valentine, and ties for my fave FF7 pairing altogether. It's not the relationship that lasts the longest for him, but it's the oldest for sure.

My results from the FF7 ship ranking, tho these things never reflect my actual taste bcos they never include Before Crisis's Avalanche and Turks. Shelfe and VinVeld are right up there w/ Tseng*Ru for me. I also like AGS much more as trio than as separate characters lol
1. TsengRu 2. RenoRude 3. GenSeph 4. AerTi 5. Zerith 6. Myrret 7. JessTi 8. Gengeal 9. ZakKura
