Good morning Bluesky! I'm in the mood to do some grilling, erm..shall we MELT some vinyl today? 😬🙃😲
This is my new vinyl flattener tool, I'm doing some intial tests to see what temperature readings we get from the Groovy Pouch before testing the VinylFlat. #VinylCommunity Readibgs at Hi & Medium 🔥

I have a new toy on the way! Due to the endless brand new records arriving with slight warpage, I'm taking matters into my own hands, I'm well tired of the return to sender game. Enter VinylFlat & The Groovy Pouch. (Shameless Promotional Content for this company) Stay tuned! 😃🙃🎶

#NowFixing #NowCooking #VinylFlat #WarpedVinyl #Vinyl #LP I have been receiving far too many records with unsightly/unplayable warps due to poor quality control/shipping issues. Finally invested in a Vinyl Flat and have salvaged 2 records already and about a dozen to go!

Not the Album of the Day
I forgot I had this copy. I loaned it out to a friend with a VinylFlat and since we are both transport impaired it was a few months before I got it back.
I doubted a little it would survive the flattening process and came across an inexpensive Walmart reissue.

If you ever try to permanently flatten them with heat - don't use the 'two pieces of glass weighed down in the oven' method. Just spring for a vinylflat or ask someone who has one. They actually work pretty well once you get the hang of it. Edgewarps still a no-go unfortunately.

a VinylFlat, only to later discover I messed up and gave him two copies of one album in the set, leaving me with two copies of the other.
Since neither of us drives, there is going to be some walking done on my part, I suppose. I want to get that done before it gets too hot outside for the summer.

I really need to get another decent copy of "5150". My last one did not survive a friend's VinylFlat. I should add that one to my most wanted list.

3. Later, a friend with a VinylFlat offered to flatten some of my warped records and I added the extra album and cover which I told him to keep.
Months went by while I forgot about some of the records.
He eventually dropped them off along with the gifted record. By that time, I forgot I had a copy.
