And also: sometimes "unfiltered artistic visions" are, in fact, not very good!
I feel like a lot of folks have decided in advance that the only reason "mainstream" animation has flaws is due to corporate meddling and interference, and therefore presume that when those limitations are lifted and we get a "pure" version of an artist's intent, it's supposed to be flawless/perfect
Why is hating Indie animation so much more popular than enjoying Indie animation? What's going on?
