Despite its long history as a non-residential structure (a state legislator used it as his legislative offices after Visualcraft moved out, it was at one point a recording studio, etc.), it retains many original features. And the current owners have filled it with midmod furnishings and fixtures.

2737 Union Street in Blue Island, originally an office and showroom AV firm Visualcraft (a company headed by eventual Blue Island mayor Richard Withers, who would found lighting company EiKO after politics). Attributed to McPherson, Swing & Associates Architects, it was later converted into a home.
