I do think a big reason Vivek’s awful ad did as much damage to him as it did is that a lot of his supporters are super racist and were already somewhat uncomfortable voting for a non-white dude

So apparently a GOP group ran a focus group of some kind on Vivek’s disgusting ad with Amy Acton’s mother, and it moved undecided voters 2-to-1 TOWARD VOTING FOR ACTON.

I've been pretty skeptical of ohio all year because it's an older and whiter state where I don't expect a lot of pro-dem trends to be as strong... but brown has led polls most of the year and I think vivek's terrible, horrible no good ad pulls him over the line
