A number of yrs ago, I exposed Voddie on my blog. We started debating on the bird site, and then he moved the conversation to private messages. Voddie Baucham believes in the permanence view of marriage. In other words, he doesn't believe what the Bible says about divorce. He is not a safe pastor.
"I have been out for almost a decade, and I am still dealing with PTSD from the abuse I experienced—abuse that was fueled by the teaching of Christian Patriarchy."

We homeschooled for 11 years.
One reason I stopped? The indoctrination of homeschool conferences.
The keynote that broke me...
Voddie Baucham.
Pure venom poured out of his mouth.
My kids graduated from public school & my greatest accomplishments is people are surprised they were homeschooled. :)

In the Gospels, children are spoken of and treated with a historically revolutionary amount of respect, love, and value — the very respect, love, and value that are grossly absent in Voddie Baucham’s worldview.
