A close-up, low-angle photograph capturing a distinct Silky Rosegill (Volvariella bombycina) mushroom growing out of a decaying, moss-speckled fallen log. The mushroom features a bright, pristine white, bell-shaped cap covered in a fine, velvety, silken texture. Its pale, smooth stem emerges from a prominent, cup-like tan sheath or volva tucked amid dry brown leaves. The background is a detailed look at rough tree bark and sun-dappled green forest foliage under a bright sky.
