This approval, however, leaves Vorasidenib inaccessible to patients in the rest of the UK and Ireland. We support Brain Cancer Justice in their call to the NHS and NICE to introduce vorasidenib into the clinic UK-wide.

As the year comes to a close, the biggest development in the brain cancer space was the FDA approval of vorasidenib for treatment of untreated low grade glioma. What was yours?

2 years into recurrence. Apparently it's been 1 year since I started taking vorasidenib, one of the latest developments in treating brain cancer. DEFINITELY NOT CHEMO

Mich wundert, wie wenig darüber berichtet wird.

Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass klassische Krebsbehandlungen für „Big Pharma“ ein (bisher) sicheres Multimilliarden-Geschäft sind.

The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) has approved Vorasidenib for use by NHS Scotland to treat people aged 12 or older with IDH-mutated, low grade gliomas. Our CEO, Dr Micehele Afif, said "This is a moment of real celebration for the Scottish brain tumour community.

I just came across updated data on perioperative IDHi #vorasidenib and #ivosidenib in IDH1-mutated diffuse glioma presented at #SNO24. As someone who used to be heavily involved in early clinical development I am really delighted to see continuing progress. www.onclive.com/view/periope...

And to be clearer the surgery was for the biopsy, they just need to do genetic testing to figure out just what kind of tumor they're dealing with. Fingers crossed for something that responds well to Vorasidenib.

The MHRA has approved Vorasidenib for certain low-grade gliomas (grade 2 astrocytoma or oligodendroglioma with an IDH1/2 mutation). NICE must now consider whether it will be made available on the NHS.

Today was a good day, my daughter received news that her brain cancer has not spread in her quarterly meeting with her Neuro oncologist so we can breathe for three more months.
The total cost of three years of cancer care including vorasidenib has been whatever the parking costs have been.🇨🇦
