it really kills me that nidhogg was left alone for a thousand years and not once did hraesvelgar or vrtra try to comfort him. no wonder he went mad!!! the weight of his grief was SO vast he was willing to doom the world he'd once sworn to protect.

Been thinking about this...I havent worked it all out so I may say something different later. And i wanna reread some stuff. but I think its a mix of Nidhogg (initially + residual from estinien(?) ) and Hraesvelgr and eventually (maybe unintentionally) Vrtra by way of sapping it from Varshahn
For those whose WoL/OC is canonically a DRG, do they use the power of Nidhogg's eye, that of another Great Wyrm (Hraesvelgr, Tiamat, etc), or that of another dragon's entirely (like Vidofnir)?

I hope Lagertha bullies the crap out of Estinien.
That is my bare minimum of Estinien shipping - he must be bullied by his partner in some capacity which is why I mostly dig Ysayle, DRG!wol and Vrtra with him because I think they are very capable of annoying him LOL
