I'm so used to Emby's Sagi and Kagerou. One of them I could accept but both!? (Honestly Wakasagihime should be fat in general imo, she lives in a cold freshwater lake!!)
Banki though yeah I think she's built like that for real. Svelte woman.

that's true of a lot of the games, the main players are often too serious
after addlemoth i wanna do a touhou puzzle game with the grassroots network crew(kagerou, sekibanki, wakasagihime) because they're fun idiots and a huge castlevania ref

At the time of DDC, she is very unlikely to be a member of the grassroots youkai neetwork but there is a solid implication to have joined it sometime after it
It is unknown how close she is to any members, but had once been depicted being helped out by Kagerou and Wakasagihime

ZUNs comments of Seki in this just amount to talking about his approach to designing her, thinking her neck is gross so he gave her a cape. Much like in ISC, AFiEU, and GoU, he is just focused on showcasing and talking about her neck and reveals nothing more of her personality or life (4/20)

In 2020 Who's Who of Humans and Youkai's everlasting edition brought the page of Wakasagihime, Sekibanki, and Kagerou. What is immediately important is that this is the first instance in official material that Sekibanki actually is associated with the grassroots, 7 years after DDC (2/20)

This is for instance where we learn Kagerou plays tabletop games at Korindou, or Wakasagihime having a river race with Shinmy and getting quotes from both. Sekibanki though, does not get either. All we really learn about her is she likes reading, or at least really liked this one book. (6/15)
