September 27, 2026 — LAGOS, Nigeria (Naija247news) Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has inaugurated a 5.2-kilometre bypass linking Akwanga to the Jos axis, alongside three one-kilometre roads constructed in Akwanga, Nasarawa-Eggon and Wamba Local Government Areas. The projects were inaugurated on Saturday as part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of the creation of Nasarawa State, which will be commemorated on October 1, 2026.

Treize patients pris en charge contre la maladie à virus Ebola ont été déclarés guéris et autorisés à quitter le centre de traitement de Wamba, dans la province du Haut-Uélé. Cette évolution encourageante est attribuée notamment au dépistage précoce, à la prise en charge médicale et à la collaboration entre les communautés et les équipes sanitaires. Quelques jours avant leur sortie, le médecin-chef de la zone de santé de Wamba, le docteur John Nilsson, avait indiqué que dix patients attendaient les résultats de leur second contrôle biologique.
