correction on this - watching the replay now, and Amatosero was actually stuck getting a contact put back in while the it was play on

definitely disagree with the idea that a lock is not essential enough to not stop play defending a restart! #WARvHIG

Miles Amatosero looking a touch lazy tonight tbh. that kickoff after the penalty he was wandering back through the Highlanders after the kick #WARvHIG

Report card #WARvHIG. Tahs C- Very lucky win lifts result from D. Need to reassess box kick use and address defensive lapses. Highlanders C-. Unlucky to lose. Good cohesive effort. (Lucky enough to see live game).

for anyone wondering about the crowd last night at the SFS / Allianz for #WARvHIG - yes the train strike impact in sydney was absolutely that diabolical.
excerpt from Sydney Morning Herald article from 14/2/25. link in next post Internal Sydney Trains data showed the proportion of train services running on time had fallen to zero by noon. By the middle of the afternoon more than 800 services had been cancelled and another 396 were delayed. photo of the timetable boards at Central Station, Sydney at the Elizabeth Street exit. photo taken at 2146 friday 14/2/25. only 3 trains are listed, to Bondi, to Cronulla and two to the airport, every other line is unscheduled (6 lines) screenshot of tripview from friday 14/2 2025, showing how many cancelled trains there were immediately after the Waratahs game
