There are a few tiny islands (part of the #100WildIslands of #Halifax), that are nothing more than a big rock rising from Mitchell Bay, that are impossible to get on by boat, but could be walked to, on low tide. Today was to be that day. If we can't boat to them, we'll walk. #ExploreNS #WAYCTV

So, after I recorded stars all night (while you slept)
I thought I might get an awesome sunrise, so, I recorded that.
It was kind of nice out. It got wet/damp at 4am, camera lens fogged up. Didn't catch the full transition from #stars to #Sunrise - threaded posts

There's a lot of that in Nova Scotia. I usually share the best ones with #WAYCTV (When Are You Coming To Visit) , It's Location, Location, Location. On Moon tides, I have a moat to exit the driveway, I can be surrounded by ocean. Lots of pre-dawn Nautical Twilight opportunities because of distance

I wasn't 100% certain, it looked like two ducks, but it was two seals, side by side, into the river delta. My wife saw one last month but these were the first sightings for me this season.

You know I have many like this? My WAYCTV tag was started as I guided a BC lady through Nova Scotia for her first visit. Then she didn't come. Back in Google Plus days, we had so much more space, I put phone numbers of places we passed that you wouldn't find in a google search, small shops, etc

I forgot to mention the LISCOMBs, Little, Big, West, Liscomb and Liscomb Mills. Only the resort LISCOMBE LODGE, has an E at the end. We sometimes go around through the woods (if you know the unmarked routes)

We'd have to show you Fancy's beach, and you'd have to walk the last KM, it's rough but a truck could make it . As kids we swam here, the riptides are dangerous, but they had no seatbelts back then either, living on the edge.
