RevPro, WxW, 2010s Progress, ICW, and WCPW were some of the best crowds I've seen in my life.

Why is that, any wrestling show is in Europe, the crowd is always so much more fun, and gives wrestling a much better experience? #AEWDynamite

He was so rosy-cheeked back in the day.
WCPW era Gabriel Kidd. He has big rosy cheeks.

First saw him in WCPW. I'm still shocked how much he's grown.

according to FB I made this dumb image a decade ago and I appreciate being reminded of the glory days of 2010s European wrestling

2026 update:

MEW, Full Tilt and NCL still regularly run the area

WCPW and Absolute went the way of 5 Star

ICW only comes round these parts if it can hold NCL's hand
THE BATTLE FOR NEWCASTLE represented by the various different companies suddenly running Newcastle as it was the 2010s and suddenly every area in the UK and Ireland had a few sweet-arse indies running according to my notes at the time: "MEW's been around the longest AFAIK so they get old-school Geordie Nail. Michael Caine's Southerner fucking up Newcastle from Get Carter represents WCPW well. FTW gets Gazza because he gans full tilt and I don't know much else about them. NCL's setting their own image that's atypical of other companies so that's why I picked Doesn't Look Like A Geordie But Is from Pacific Rim. ICW gets Begbie because he's Insane (cw) and Trainspotting 2's coming out soon. Absolute are cool guys with a cool image so Ginger Wildheart." yeah, i was on the good stuff back then

I’ve liked Gabe Kidd since he was a fresh faced baby looking for his first win in WCPW. That man is the future, but Omega proved that he is still the NOW! #AEW #NJPW

Tiktok is a different world.
A Tiktok screenshot: Alberto El Patron and Rey Mysterio in a tiny. The graphic says ONLY LEGENDS REMEMBER WCPW. One of the top comments says "the generational Martin Kirby run 🥹🥹"

It took a while for me. Especially seeing him in WCPW before his NJPW training. I said "Gabriel Kidd is a killer now?". Seeing his growth now has been amazing.

Drew Joe Hendry again. been a fan since WCPW, so I’m glad to see him killing it now. I’ve got two versions, I did the marker version and wasn’t super feeling it so I went back to my halftones.
