I see the SVR has changed the timetable for next week’s diesel gala regarding the class 50’s
Originally there were 50033 & one other
However with the fuel issues with 50049 & the blown turbo on 50007 WCRC class 47 loco 47804 is doing the other class 50 diagram along with 50033🙁

WCRC class 37 loco 37669 & class 47 loco 47812 are seen at Crewe after arriving on 22nd August 2026 having worked down from Carnforth to fill in for A4 kettle 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley on a London Euston to Blackpool North tour

My biggest worry is the vultures from the northwest will probably be circling & no doubt have already tried a cheeky offer.
Can imagine that some of WCRC type 4 locos are approaching serious expenditure especially with their wheel sets.
