Having moved for HE to the NHS I see this personally. I never want to do an EDI job in a university again because the Athena Swan/Race Equality Charter has become a bloated monster that cannibalises all your time. Whereas the NHS has the WRES/WDES built on nationally designed data reports & surveys

The Red Zone—scientists and law enforcement only—includes the summit, Spirit Lake basin, and slopes in all directions. The Blue Zone extends five miles beyond, allowing daytime access with permits for landowners and loggers.

But not all sides of the mountain are treated equally.
