ANNOUNCEMENT

In interest of saving characters for your pitch, I've realized that WIPSnipsPit is really long, so WIPSnipsPit is now going to use the hashtag

#WSPit

This leaves more room for other tags and your pitch!

Full tags list and details coming soon.

Mark your calendars for Feb 26!

Hey #literaryagents and #editors and #smallpresses of Bsky!

#WIPSnipsPit is going to be an author hype event, but industry participation is welcome!

Mark it down on your calendars!

Hey! #WIPSnips is going to be hosting #WIpSnipsPit in February! Full guidelines forthcoming but the date is announced.

There's a lot of pitch events here at the start of the year, so it's pretty hard to keep track.

Here's a list of the ones we know of and when they're happening!

#WritingCommunity
#WriteSky #Writers
#AmQuerying #AmWriting

The WIPSnipsPit hashtag has changed to WSPit to not take up so many characters.

Full guidelines are forthcoming!

Updated Version! There's been a handful of new pitch events announced!

The next event is on Dec 14th, #WIPPit, for WIP projects only and then #HoliPit on the 15th!

For future reference it’s WIPSnipsPit not WIPsSnipsPit

Thanks for putting this together!

Here we go!

Staking claim to a date because I’ve been thinking about this since May for a 🦋 #WIPSnips adjacent event.

Full guidelines forthcoming. There will be a #WIPSnips twist.

It is “author hype” so all stages will be welcome to participate.

Mark your calendars!

#WSPit info.
Won't be here, on a trip, but with you all luck and at least one like from an agent/publisher.
#WIPSnipsPit - Note the shorter hashtag above!!!

#P2PPit & #2025Pit are traditional pitch events, focused on getting agents.

#MiseryPit, #CuPit, & #SludgePit are focused on niche genres.

And #WIPSnipsPit is focused on Works In Progress.

It's a lot to take in, but I think we're seeing so many is b/c we're all trying to woo agents off Twitter.

The #WIPSnips word for February 19 is "sense"

I am SENSING some forthcoming information about the #WSPIT (formerly WIPSnipsPit) Author Hype Event coming up in ONE WEEK.

You're hired! :D

Everything Jax said is correct.

The original event title was WIPSnipsPit but it was just too long so I shortened it to WSPit.

I will then look at starting up a #WIPSnipsPit Author Hype Pitch event from the WIPSnips page and continue hosting all the #WIPSnips daily prompts from this page.

You won't have to do anything, except keep doing what you're doing, and maybe follow me on my new account if you choose to. 💜

To all my fellow writers,

Good luck with #WIPSnipsPit

I'll be gone on a trip and won't be there to swap support, but may you all receive at least one agent/publisher like. I'll see you next on #PopUpPit
#WritngCommunity
#amquerying
#writers #authors
BON CHANCE! GOOD LUCK! BUONA FORTUNA!

✨ #WIPSnipsPit ✨ (Correction from Image) is being ran by @wipsnips.bsky.social on Feb 26th. Follow them for additional information and rules as the date approaches!

- I may have some personal stuff coming up, but the above is what we're looking at for January. I have only loose plans for February (Questpit on the 12th, Cupit on the 14th, and WIPSnipsPit on the 26th are the only definites) because the personal stuff may be life-uprooting (in a good way).
