looking up alternative input methods, the best i can find is diction. The fastest delivery of a memorised passage was by Sean Shannon in the 90s at 655 WPM. So... peach would still be smashing records there too.

So interesting how your tastes change over time. Middle school me salivated over 7 row keyboard ThinkPads. But today I'm meh on the typing feel 🥲 Dense, yes, but heavy. Takes off about 5-10 WPM off my regular speed

in ffxiv? you don't have to 'click.' i do like, drama tv show 'fake typing' where you just hit a bunch of keys? that works just fine for me generally. like as if i'm typing, but just random keys.
