Secondly - WWAW is something that's only going to come about through negotiation, which the proponents have been actively hostile to. Given that, from a negotiating standpoint, it makes sense for the opponents to stake out an equally maximalist position, rather than preemptively compromising.

So, two things here - first, the onus shouldn't solely be on the opponents to figure out WWAW. The proponents have been equally at fault on that matter with their Silicon Valley "disruption" mindset
