Today for Day 3 of #AdventOfCode I chose to use Swift’s RegexBuilder for the first time. This new API is pretty amazing! ✨

This year was my 9th time at #WWDC 😱

It's even crazier if you break down the occasions:

🧊 2 x Apple Design Award winner (2015, 2025)
⭐️ 2 x Apple Design Award finalist (2022, 2023)
🎓 3 x Scholarship winner (2017, 2018, 2019)
😎 2 x Regular attendee (2024, 2026)

🤞 to get my tenth badge next year! 🥳

Passkeys make signing in so much easier and better for everyone.
Apple, Google, and many others support it.

I tend to think the feature is called "Passkeys" in a way similar to "Passwords". When referring to them in plural, either as a feature or items, their grammar comes mostly in plural form. Some good examples can be found here (e.g. "Passkeys are simple and ..."): developer.apple.com/videos/play/...

I can't watch those extremely choreographed WWDC sessions without imagining that I'm tasked with conducting one myself and asked to contort my image to that required by big A (big Apple). 🫩 Maybe it's not at all what happens, but that's how I imagine it. developer.apple.com/videos/play/...

I wrote about it in this blog post.

In the past if you forgot to include a TestFlight you would need to completely fill out the entire form again. Now you can just edit the field you forgot to populate.

Yup. It's also little tricky to get this stuff right, but unfortunately most teams aren't well versed in this area. The problem tends to pop up when a platform adds "sign in with " as a feature, without thinking about the entire login flow interaction.
