Trump promised to raise wages.

They've barely budged under his Presidency.

And since his war in Iran, real wages have actually fallen 1.3%.

Oh no wage theft prevented!

Instead of stealing other people's wages she may have to work herself.

Devastating.

Inflation is a feedback loop in which higher prices force workers to demand higher wages, resulting in higher prices, then higher wages. Today, as prices skyrocket and corporate profits soar, wages remain pretty flat. GOP blames inflation, but it's price gouging and greedflation.

There are just 2 things, WAGES and COSTS.

And if you have NO CONTROL on COSTS it doesn't matter how much you increase WAGES.

In reality it is just an illusion that things are improving.

But they don't.

It's almost like wages were better back then

This town just revoked workers health insurance for demanding fair wages. The best case for uncoupling healthcare from employment I've ever seen. This is disgusting.
Holding healthcare hostage should be a crime!

Alton public works workers have been on strike for a month, and now the city has stripped them of their health insurance. They're being forced to choose between fighting for a fair contract and keeping healthcare for their families.

Not only have real wages been sliding for six months, they’ve fallen so far that they are below the beginning of Trump’s term
KERNEN: Income growth, because of inflation, people aren't really getting ahead

Just last month, DoorDash couldn’t seem to find the money to pay their deliveristas — until our administration forced them to give back $131M+ in stolen wages and penalties.

This week, they’ve managed to find $17 billion to acquire one of their main competitors.

My gardening method is to plant a bunch of stuff and not label it and then ignore it and just see what grows. so now I ate an insanely hot pepper from my yard and without realizing. The wages of sin is hiccups.

Spotify’s CEO Daniel Ek invests money earned from stolen art made by the creators he reduces to starvation wages to invest in drone warfare technology used in modern atrocities.

I mean it shouldn’t need saying, but please don’t give him any of your money.

ICE released an inspection report today for CoreCivic's Diamondback Correctional Facility in Oklahoma. Among other failures, staff do not consistently pay detainees the wages they're owed for participating in the "voluntary" work program.

Could Trump not defeat inflation with a Presidential Order halving wages?

5. For those who aren’t aware, when Marshall was a practicing physician, he filed hundreds of lawsuits against patients. Some of those patients were arrested when they didn’t show up for court dates; others had their wages garnished.

This is literally infruiating. DoorDash has been cheating its own employees over their meager wages, they fought this settlement with NYC tooth and nail... but they have $17 BILLION WITH A FUCKING B to...buy more groceries.

Electrocutions, ‘mental terror’ and withheld wages: The exploited workers building Europe’s data centres

"...reporters found evidence of debilitating injuries, squalid living conditions, an unreported infectious outbreak [TB], unpaid wages and exploitative employment practices."

Nothing should be Privatised.

John Maynard Keynes pointed out 90 years ago that all private profit seeking leads to is...

lower wages
lower quality
job losses
consolidation (monopolisation)
higher prices

He told us what Privatisation would do 30 years before it was even named

If you replace any resource that some rich fuck gets a major share of control over I need you to understand, this is exactly how they feel about it.

The capitalist mentality that wants all your RAM is the same one that makes your insulin unaffordable. The same one suppressing your wages. On & on.
BREAKING: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says having RAM in personal computers is an inefficient use of the world’s limited DRAM supply, arguing it would be better allocated to data centers, per Tom’s Hardware

A throwaway line in this DeepMind paper about the effect of AI agents on the economy

"when AI is introduced into the economy: whenever a model can match human capability, human wages become tied to the cost of compute."

More datacenters = cheaper compute = lower wages
How and when does AGI transform the economy?
Discover why solo AI benchmarks miss the big picture and how agent coordination thresholds reshape markets, wages, and organizations.
