Well yesterday was erm interesting.

Helvellyn cancelled due to weather. Hostel WiFi dead (weather). Had to climb 1/2 of Helvellyn to get one bar of “signal” with Three terror network to check my family’s flight arrived (it has).

At least I climbed 2 Wainwrights? Only 212 to go. #WainwrightBagging

A patch of blue sky finally opens up over High Street(?) Some cloudy weather towards…Skiddaw?? Me tbf. The first three hills had nothing / next to nothing at the summit, so was chuffed to find a good old fashioned trig point at Little Mell Fell. A view forwards…Ullswater??? Soz dnt really no this part of world.

Met Office: the forecast for the Lake District on Friday has collapsed, and now shows rain all afternoon including some heavy outbursts. I’m staying at the Helvellyn Youth Hostel no matter what (cause it’s booked), but will have to cook up an inferior Plan B now.
