I was asked to relay some mountain screw-up stories from my youth. I asked, "how long have you got?"

I lost a stone, aged a decade, and ate my most humiliating meal: how my first Scottish backpack reduced me to feral beast
Norman Hadley learns the hard way that upgrading from Wainwrights to Munros on a Scottish backpack is a step change in seriousness.

i hope that is the case, as someone hailing from where she bases her television programs and who does genuinely love her work it pains me that her name is borne out in a lot of work against us, but benefit of the doubt as up here there are a lot of wainwrights and riot women featured a trans woman

Day 3 of our Walking the Wainwrights - Eastern Fells.

For those who wonder why I go to the Lakes so much. Apart from finishing the Wainwrights, it’s the warm welcome I get at Sunnyside. It truly is a home from home 🙏
The nights are drawing in quickly and the weather is very changeable. If you’re heading up on the fells please have all the kit you require to stay safe - clothing, lighting, food, drinks etc. But you can be blessed with absolutely stunning views 😍

To localize it, it sounds like when Mozeliak said “payroll will go up this offseason” and he came into spring training like “well Wainwrights deferred money counts towards that” like you know what you implied

Adventures to remember this autumn

Crimson Desert is such a wild game (complimentary). I accidentally picked up some beans in the middle of a boss fight and the game tells me I’ve “acquired” “knowledge” about beans. And the instant I beat the boss, it tells me about “packaging trade goods.”

Cumbrian toddler, 3, becomes youngest person in Britain to break hiking record
A three-year-old Cumbrian toddler has made history by becoming the youngest person to climb all 214 peaks in the Lake District. Navy Moores, alongside his parents and two siblings, moved to Cumbria earlier this year and enjoy hiking together as a family. ### The quintet decided to embark on the 214 peaks, known as the Wainwrights, five months ago. When asked by GB News’s Stephen Dixon as to “why on earth" they decided to climb all the Wainwrights, Navy's dad, Daniel, replied: “We were out hiking one day and someone saw us and told us that what Navy was doing was impressive. ### TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say ### “We had done hiking together as a family because it’s something that we could do together that was compatible, it was a cheap way to get out, you could put some fuel in the car and you could go out and enjoy the day." He added: “It’s become quite a challenge for hikers all over the UK, in fact all over the world to come to the Lake District to complete the Wainwrights. “It was just something that we felt after moving to the Lake District, we should at least do.” Navy and his family completed around 510 miles and 220,000 ft of cumulative climbing over the five months that it took to climb the 214 peaks. ### ### ### Leanne, Navy’s mum, told GB News that they are his "sherpas”, when asked about the independence of Navy during his expeditions. Stephen then asked the young boy: “Did you enjoy yourself?” The three-year-old was too shy to respond and instead chose to bury his head into his mum’s arms. Mr Moores said: “We never set out to go and get a record for Navy to become the youngest known to complete the Wainwrights. ### LATEST DEVELOPMENTS * Man carrying 36kg postbox the length of the UK to fundraise for the ‘global pandemic’ of loneliness * British explorer returns to UK after 28 years and 36,000 miles by swimming across English Channel * Arsenal star Max Dowman awarded three Guinness World Records ### ### ### ### “It was always about going out together as a family for a hike and just enjoying that time together.” He added: “I think we learnt during lockdown actually, like that was the eye-opener for the world, that families had to spend time together”. Navy has more challenges in store to complete in the future, but his dad stressed: “Above all it’s about the enjoyment because the minute you lose the enjoyment there’s no point in doing it.” ### **Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**

honorable mention goes to rufus wainwright’s debut album. I just didn’t want to do 3 ghosts and then also 3 rufus wainwrights in a 3x3 grid…

Two Wainwrights achieved, plus an 'outlying Wainwright', lake circuits and fell walks, a fitness app that thinks I've become Wonder Woman 🤣 and quite possibly one of the most stunning pictures I've ever taken #LakeDistrict you were amazing 😍

As ever, thank you 😊

Any #OSMaps app users out there who know how to display preset ‘Places’ (like Munros & Wainwrights) on the *Mobile* version?

I can do it on the desktop version, but am totally stumped with the mobile app.
