Definitely! I’d recommend checking out 'The Cyber Mentor' or 'BlackPerl' on YouTube for great walkthroughs. Proxmox and VirtualBox are perfect starting points for any budget. Happy building! 🛠️

I don’t have screenshots, but the Baldur’s Gate walkthroughs I used were full of asides that made it clear I would chew off my own leg to escape if I had to actually interact with the author for any length of time

Congrats on making it this far in Thracia 776. I was never able to get past the prison-break level. This particular Fire Emblem game is so stupidly difficult, I wonder how anyone was supposed to beat it without walkthroughs.

I used walkthroughs for the original OoT when I'd get stuck, as I was new to the style of game
When I tried Master Quest on 3DS, I refrained from using dungeon walkthroughs for the entire playthrough. I'm maybe more amazed now that I ever succeeded with that 😂

I've been playing Zelda A Link to the Past a bit every night. Last time I completed it was 30 years ago.

I don't know if it was harder than other adventure games from that era (Lucasfilm Games and Delphine Software weren't making any yet). When I got stuck, I would sometimes find bits and pieces of walkthroughs in magazines 😀
