True. No bananas, no melons, no kiwis. I was 9 at "Mauerfall" (wallbreaking between east and west) -my mother took a train to Westberlin (~170km) and that was my first time i saw a Kiwi. I thought it was a potato, it really surprised me. Unfortunally only some woke up.

This one kinda gets next to me a little because it feels like major decision-makers took the opinion of Buzzfeed articles and SNL skits too seriously when it came to ragging on Disney movies when the sincerity is what made them interesting, not the ironic 4th-wallbreaking at how corny they were 😤

I don't think Tokon's going to be able to top Deadpool beating the opponent to death with the health bar in terms of fourth wallbreaking, but good lord have they sure tried by sheer volume.
I will say that ArcSys deciding to have him repeatedly borrow from MK is an unexpected, but fun, choice.

One of my favorite headcanons is if kubo and hanekoma fought in NEO, it would have been kubo landing a few hits on hanekoma, and hanekoma going " oh bet. i understand it now." and clocking kubo hard he ended up wallbreaking the world membrane into another parallel world.

In general I'm also not a fan of the actual gameplay mechanics, wallbreaking seems even more annoying and worse than it did in Strive, and having three (or is 4?) characters to choose from yet all of them share the healthpool seems pointless.

I grew up with L& H, as such a permanent presence in my family, they have both always felt like (much loved) relatives. There is a closeness, and a conspiracy of silly naughtiness that you join with them, through Oliver's slightly sly wallbreaking, and Stan's... blank staring :)

Kingler actually does have OU presence, it just requires an absurd amount of skill and format knowledge to pilot.
It's better at wallbreaking than Tauros and can sweep faster, but its weak to the most common move (Thunderbolt) and its speed stat is so middling a paralysis disables it.

its not like you get to the end of OneShot and just now find out theres something meta going on, you are actively interacting with Niko from the start, or for a non 4th wallbreaking example, Control tells its story in a way where characters are constantly doing weird things and it being normal

Something really cool about Magik is that is you time your air follow up after 22H you actually get a side switch which can save you from either A: not the wall too early or B: Allow you to get away from the corner and even get assist by wallbreaking (I messed it up but it does work)

I really like the new mechanics but I think wallbreaking with Wild Assault giving a hard knockdown is too much, the amount of dirty things characters can do with a hkd wallbreak and positive bonus was crazy before, but now they can do that AND still have 50 meter? and pb refunds the burst?? too much
