Nach einer Insolvenz Ende 2024 wurde das #Flugtaxi -„Startup“ Anfang 2025 vollständig vom chinesischen #Wanfeng -Konzern (der Muttergesellschaft von Diamond Aircraft) übernommen und restrukturiert.

“It’s gonna be ok”, he repeated almost automatically, more to himself than to Mingjue, who had gone quiet, “the Lan delegation will surely have something that can make those heal a lot faster” He thanked the gods his brother’s chest wasn’t as dirty, he wouldn’t be able to avoid the reddish-purple bruise that covered most of it. And there was the matter of his ribs. Huaisang couldn’t count how many were broken, too distressed by the fact they were so clearly visible under Mingjue’s skin. His brother looked at his face with tiredness in eyes then, but said nothing. He had never needed his didi to bathe him before, but Huaisang could tell by the look on his face that the exhaustion overcame any shame or self-consciousness. His legs sustained older wounds, smaller scars so deep Huaisang could swear he would find a matching one on the other side. He cleaned it all to the best of his abilities, from the threatening scratch across Mingjue’s throat to the toes that lost their fingernails somewhere along the way. But only when he moved to the hair, using water he had spared for it, that his brother reacted. Maybe it was the fact that Huaisang now stood behind him and couldn’t see his face, maybe it was because that’s the part they were used to. As he washed and rinsed and combed Mingjue’s dark hair, his shoulders started to shake. He cried quietly, almost softly, during the entire process. But worry, if more of it could even fit inside Huaisang’s chest, didn't settle in his mind. His brother wasn't crying out of pain. It was relief. “I believe I forgot to thank you” The Sun God said, still holding a pendant between his fingers. “Oh, it’s nothing” Apollo answered, noticing, from the way his companion was looking at him, that he was grateful for more than just the jewel. “It’s quite a simple design, I suppose, at least when compared to the ones I often see you wearing; but it's not an art I can say I’m familiar with.” He smiled then; a bit embarrassed. “I like it. I’ll keep it as a remembrance of this day” Came the reply, and they went back to the pleasant silence from before; only the dry, impetuous wind blowing on their ears. Apollo wanted to kiss him, and he repressed the thought as soon as it crossed his mind, afraid that his friend would notice. He didn’t. Or he did, but had no intentions to let it show. Until the end of the day, the Greek god would try to keep himself from such ideas, though every now and then he would find himself overwhelmed by the absolute delight Ra had awakened in him since the first time his eyes landed on the Egyptian god. He could see now that neither Hermes, nor Artemis, nor Helios were completely wrong about him. Apollo was a passionate creature. All it took were brief smiles, half-spoken words and shy looks for him to be completely infatuated. Things couldn’t be different with the Ra, he thought sadly. Because now every laugh, look and word would be as precious as presents to him. And the Sun God didn’t cease to offer him his polite laughter whenever Apollo teased him; or to grace him with the attentive look of a good listener whenever Apollo told him one more of his famous tales; or to bless him, because it was no less than a blessing, with the graceful yet embarrassed way he smiled while trying to fix the mess that the warm, dry wind of the desert made of his locks. Apollo was, indeed, ruined. The first thing she noticed were the trees, twisted in graceful angles but naked still. The evergreen gardens seemed duller now and at the distance she could spot crops where once were only flowers. It made sense, considering what she had seen until now, that growing food was more urgent than welcoming spring. Wanfeng wondered if GusuLan was supplying other territories with food, and what that meant for other sects. Did they have enough food at home? Did the enemy aim for the land? Questions kept bubbling up in her head as they climbed the stairs and by the time they reached the top, she was panting. The disciples accompanying her were merciful enough to stop for a minute so she could catch her breath. That was when she saw him. Wanfèng didn’t think much of him at first, the young man in light grey robes that had seen better days. His face was flushed and sweaty, his movements were frantic, disturbing the busy yet organized courtyard. Again and again he struck a single tree with none of the grace Lan disciples usually had; he seemed angry and familiar with his furrowed brow. But only when he raised his arm in the air, ready for the next strike, she realized what he had been wielding. The well kept sabre reflected the morning sun before descending into the tree trunk again. “Huaisang” She said, despite herself, and the boy, her son, turned to her. His eyes widened, his mouth opened and closed , his hands faltered and he promptly fell to the ground. “Come, the water is still warm”, Huaisang said, taking his hand and leading him to the big wooden bathtub. Everything smelled so nice Mingjue felt slightly self conscious about the state of his clothes. He hadn’t come across that many rivers and the harsh winter definitely didn’t help. Yet Huaisang didn’t complain as he removed his scarf and outer robe, tossing both somewhere Mingjue couldn’t see. With dexterity he undressed each layer, getting through the knots and small repairs Mingjue had resorted to in the winter. The big tear by the shoulder on the middle layer when it had gotten caught on a tree branch while he chased a yao; the dark stain on the sleeves where he punched a hole in a creature's stomach. It was a good thing that Huaisang probably had commissioned new robes already. “Come in”, he said, taking Nie Mingjue by the hand again; except this time he brought it to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on it – as if Huaisang led a young lover to their marital bed and not a walking corpse, with all the stiffness and asperity that came with it, through their shared quarters – before he motioned for Mingjue to get in the tub. In a different time, he would have flinched away, but he didn’t have the reflexes nor the intention to do so anymore. Each motion had to be thought-through, rehearsed, and nothing has ever prepared him for Huaisang’s unwavering love. Nothing ever would. “Is everything alright? Did something happen during your travels?” Huaisang asked, gently.
