Sunrise and Grind. Sunrise is soooooo early in eastern MA this time of year, but totally worth it. A day that starts with a trail ride at least starts out positiv.

This AM units managed a house fire in Waquoit. FFRD and FPD arrived to find heavy smoke from the front door. Personnel from both agencies immediately engaged in operations and the fire was controlled. Thanks to Mashpee, Joint Base, and those that covered stations.

Doozie was on a guided walk today .
Round Waquoit Bay
They saw many dead birds.
Razor Bill Auk too.
Kinda rare.
Two of them.
Should this be reported to a central data base?

We had a great gathering next to the apple orchard in Waquoit yesterday. I’m honored to have the support of the Patrick family.

Great to stop by The Waquoit Congregational Church’s Annual Summer Bazaar and grab a ‘holy hot dog’. WCC has such a strong volunteer presence from food drives, to standing with Ukraine or supporting our immigrant community.

Never a dull day on the trail. Great to stop by the Citizens for the Protection of Waquoit Bay (CPWB) storm drain kick off event raising awareness on how we can keep pollutants out of the Waquoit bay watershed.
