According to renowned film critic Taran Adarsh, the film lacks soul despite its star power, scale, style, and stunts. The writing is identified as the biggest culprit in this royal mess. Even the presence of Hrithik Roshan and NTR couldn’t save the film from its weak storyline. With a rating of only ½, War 2 is considered the weakest film in the YRF Spy Universe. Fans of the franchise might want to lower their expectations before heading to the theaters.

‘War 2’ marks Jr NTR’s Bollywood debut, earning mixed audience reviews but praise for his screen presence and action sequences.
