Warhipster has been doing some “normal” painting with them on his streams; it’s funny that he is thinning them with water, but someone posted on Reddit that when they did the Warhammer store paint demo with them, the staff said you aren’t supposed to use water 🤔 (hopefully just a misunderstanding?)

This evenings task if I can focus my eyes is to find Orc and Black Orc skin tones I like, I have a bunch of recipes from vincent knotley and the warhipster to try out and a whole squad of 40k Orks willing to be my little guinea pigs :3

Contrast paints can be super helpful for blocking out areas but if you thin and/or mix them they can have a variety of uses, if you haven’t look at Warhipster and Mediocre Hobbies!

Yeah there's some great video painting/converting guides these days, Eons of Battle, Warhipster, Pete the Wargamer, Midwinter Minis, Dana Howl etc. are all regular watches for me.

I'd highly recommend checking out WarHipster on youtube! He does a plethora of guides on painting in a Contrast+ style and everything comes out looking great! I'm not sure how much it'll help with your vision issues, but you can absolutely get great looking models using speedpaint style paints.
