This is #WashingtonTower, built as a memorial to George Washington at the highest spot in #MountAuburnCemetery. We didn't see many birds at this popular birding spot, but did have a Bald Eagle flyover (Cambridge, Massachusetts - 9/21/26) 🤩🦅🪦

Washington Tower, a 62 foot tall gray granite tower at the highest point of Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This medieval style tower designed by the cemetery founders in honor of President George Washington, who was buried elsewhere. The round tower has many steps leading up to the opening, and is surrounded by green grasses, yellow wildflowers, tall trees with green leaves, and blue sky with wispy white clouds.
