(I have half of Ida’s day on the DVR to tide me over during today’s Waynefest.)

WayneFest was held in Sept in Wayne Alberta from 2002 - 2007. Only 500 tickets were sold, as the venue was small. It was supposed to only be for 1 year, but was such a success it ran to 2007, when the organizers said enough. I knew about it as I was heavily into volunteering for CKUA after the time.

The Coronado neighborhood's annual "micro" music festival on Nov. 7 will showcase local bands and artists.

One last HUGE thank you to Wayne Fest and all of our amazing members! 🙏✨ We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to represent such talented and passionate artists. The support, the energy, and the creative spirit we felt was incredible.
