Goals for Good 💚⚽
We ended the regular season with 29 goals = $2,900 donated to NAMI Minnesota thanks to WeAre8!
An anonymous community owner matched it, doubling the impact to $5,800.
Every goal made a difference — thank you for supporting mental health!

Today, on National Silence the Shame Day, Minnesota Aurora is proud to announce our new partnership with WeAre8 and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
Together, we’re breaking the stigma around mental health with one conversation, one story and one community at a time.

De skulle måske lige ha arbejdet lidt mere med navnet, inden de lancerede det. “WeAre8” syndes jeg lyder mere som navnet på et band fra 1980’erne, til en Live Aid koncert end et navn på et socialt medie.
Nyt socialt medie lanceres i Danmark
WeAre8 findes allerede i Storbritannien og Australien, hvor det sociale medie er downloadet over to millioner gange.

It’s unfortunate cause them leaving X and highlighting mental health are both major positives. A partnership with WeAre8 is far from that.

Imagine a social home that lifts you up instead of dragging you down. A place where community means connection, not conflict. This past week, we’ve all seen what people are dealing with daily on other platforms. But NOT ON OUR WATCH. Make the switch to WeAre8. #WeAre8 #ThePeoplesPlatform

Brand safety should be about so much more than just ad adjacency, it should encompass the environment being funded and its impact on people and society. #WeAre8 CMO Luke Robinson shared his thoughts with #B&T magazine.

I don’t know man. WeAre8 has been around since 2020 and I’ve never heard about it before today. Their ethos claiming to be good for the environment while using AI is completely backwards.

First post here. Need a way to simplify my socials: BlueSky / X / Threads / Insta / Facebook / CounterSocial, let alone Reddit / Discord / WeAre8 / blogs and numerous messaging apps is all too much. Pondering archiving, deleting, leaving options as well as aggregators to post on multiple channels.
