Galathil’s Druidic staff belonged to their mother. Of course they are super attached to it. Then in BG3 version, they are gifted another staff after they helped saving the grove. This one also means immensely to them for they earned the acceptance they never found at the circle of the Wealdath.

Galathil grew up in the Wealdath. They were entirely self sufficient for food. Time to time their mother travelled to Mosstone to trade Druid potions she made with supplies such as threads for crochet. Galathil don’t care much about money and consider it corrupt people and create problems.
Galathil grew up in the Wealdath. Animals were their first, and for a long time, only friends. As a Druid, their mother rescued orphaned and injured animal, among them, they took care of an owl bear cub they named Plum that they kept until it could be independent.

It may be delusional but I really hope the bg2 remake add Drow player option seeing how popular they’re on bg3 since I don’t feel motivated to play it if I can’t be Galathil, especially as I know in that game we go to the Wealdath where they grew up and visit Suldanesselar where live Aniel father.

It may be delusional but I really hope the bg2 remake add Drow player option seeing how popular they’re on bg3 since I don’t feel motivated to play it if I can’t be Galathil, especially as I know in that game we go to the Wealdath where they grew up and visit Suldanesselar where live Aniel father.
Most of them migrated along the coast to cooler locations around Calimshan such as riverbanks, forest of Mir, the Wealdath, etc. They are a rare sight nowadays for people who doesn't live by the coast. (3/3)

Galathil grew up alone with Aniel in a small isolated house in the Wealdath (Tethyrian forest) away from any civilization. This part of their story was inspired by Hilda from the animated fantasy series sharing the same name. Also my dream lifestyle xD.

Galathil can't really swim. They grew up in the Wealdath, a very large forest in Tethyr. When the weather was warm enough, they went to bath in nearby rivers with their mother and played in the water.

This week, the party finally wrapped up their time in The Roost. Two weeks spent with featherbrained owlin who were light-fingered and fun loving. The party, now dubbed The Outsiders, were late to check on a small prospecting outpost at the edge of the Wealdath and found it ambushed

So in our fourth session, as the players went through a list of activities they wanted to do in the downtime, I took the player's warlock owlin and laid out a combat challenge involving a mining prospector who defiled the Wealdath forest and was punished with a bonsai growing out of his head.

The party reached an owlin village in the Wealdath forest and it played just how me and the player who created it hoped. Small scenes exploring their cheeky shiny stealing nature, a sister who is toooo into Orcish rights for an owlin, and hints at cruelty against their kind in a large city nearby.

The party leveled up from 2 to 3. They didn't finish a dungeon, just instead travelled a long way to the Wealdath. They avoided most encounters—which I'm keeping an eye on bc that's not the most adventurous spirit—but in these low levels, I'll grant them the milestone for role playing a lot.
