My chariot home tonight is my #WeaverLine🟣 train. It’s formed of 710/1 710119 & here are the new carriage maps. But a question for @transportforlondon.bsky.social Why do these units that can only operate on the Weaver & Liberty Lines (& technically the Suffragette Line) have maps for all LO lines?

It's official - my branch of the London Overground is now the Weaver Line, a nod to the weaving communities that settled along the route from the 1600s onwards, from silk-weaving Huguenots in Spitalfields and Bethnal Green to others in Hackney #WeaverLine

Windrushline 9/10, great to say and it's a thing that trains do
Weaverline 7/10, trains also do this; possible accent confusion with Waverley (Edinburgh)
Mildmayline 6/10, maybe she's born with it
Suffragetteline (5/10), clunky in principle but can be shortened to Jetline which is techno-optimistic

Don’t know if it’s just had a spruce up but Clapton Station on the #WeaverLine is looking very green. Waiting room door too. Compare it to dull beige at Hackney Downs.

Get on train which is delayed at Enfield. Driver says train being taken out of service. Passengers troop to other platform. First train departs, TfL staff member gets on, tells his colleague that it wasn't taken out of service but all the passengers still boarding would have delayed it. #weaverline
