i mean at a certain level of abstraction it is, but the typical structure of "fact-checking" is a either a RAG or websearch tool-call which is then reasonably strictly attended to by the model.

Also might consider doing a websearch with your town/neighborhood name and "free store" or "community fridge"

I hit windows key, then type 'vlc' and Edge opens up a search for VLC Media Player.
The computer knows I have VLC installed. It shows it under apps just below the websearch that it automatically opened.
