A still from the original Wip3out model/anim I made in #picocad rendered at 512x512 in webviewer, with it's own lightmap.
The inherent limitations of the texture resolution & 16 colour palette meant I could only squeeze five ships together from the roster.

this step is mostly Aseprite + picoCAD, w/ some double-checking done in the webviewer (i try to keep that to a minimum because i realize this workflow is already a bit ludicrous).

Finalizing camera in multiplayer.. The mechanics work but still need some improvements. After that some more bugs to fix and the demo will be ready. We won't have tournaments and broadcasting games yet, but casual and blitz and also a webviewer to follow chess events.

ugh I want to see what the rest of gfl is like now that it's done but the thought of relearning the systems and stuff overloads my brain but I don't really want to do the webviewer either because the UI in those always feel *wrong*
