Since moving to the center of the US I’ve been scanning more of the shortwave frequencies for distant weather fax stations. I’ve found that I’m able to receive charts from the UK on 8038.1KHz. Pretty neat! #shortwaveradio #wefax

Release 4.30 of HamClock OHB brings WEFAX imagery to the main pane. Here are four shots. If you are capturing signals and images from GOES-18/19 you may already be familiar with these. Here they appear in the main pane when Weather is the background image. A WEFAX option now appears.

There is a strong wooshing signal adjacent to the wefax frequency. I never did wefax on 80m anyway, but gave up trying even on 40m because of the noise- so this feels like a bit of a win.
Think i will see how it is down 517khz for some navtext.
