I think passing by the refinery in Big Spring which they decided to build RIGHT on I-20 is a nice “Welcome to west Texas” smell also.

Look, man. All I'm saying is maybe all vaccines should come with ghosts. Stab-stab, welcome to spooktown. You want to be strong enough to survive the winter? Prove it by taking on a passenger with unfinished business and puzzle it out between now and spring.

I've been listening for the return of the shining cuckoo / pīpīwharauroa that hangs around my garden for weeks. Today was the first time I heard its call. Welcome - spring has officially sprung!

Sounds lovely, Ladybug. We don’t have spring or fall here, just summer & winter. It was 98° three days ago, we’ll have a high of 65° today & colder moving forward. Welcome to the desert.

In this first post in our series at Election Law Blog, Mike and I show that preclearance in the VRA didn't spring out of nowhere; instead, it grew out of the predictable failures of the 1960 Civil Rights Act, and a pro-voting SCOTUS decision:

It's like (almost) no one ever heard of FDR's "I welcome their hatred" line, which didn't spring from nowhere.
Right, it turns out that instead of letting the Republicans set the terms of the debate, you can simply tell them and their enablers in the media to cram it.

El-Sayed has been doing the same thing. It's long overdue.
Not only should brooks and others shut up. But Ossoff is the best example in the country of a Democrat playing dominance politics and using it to control the whole terms of his race.
