@wexfordcoco has been awarded €3.15M towards Greenway + Development.
We are not 💯 sure what is planned for this € sum, beyond the SouthEast Greenway, at this stage.
Hopefully we will see some other Greenway developments within the county 💜💛boundary soon 🤞

It seems like water quality at our local beaches has been a significant issue this summer. All of this is connected to a lack of action to support our water quality. It doesn’t need to be this way. We need top down action to depollute our waterways now.

Subsequently, the Minister for Agriculture, Food, & Marine Martin Heydon said that there is an action plan being developed with WexfordCoCo. This is welcomed, but it should be noted that actions have been advised for 40 years and not actioned. Hopefully this time it's different

Really sad to see this
it was a blue flag beach when I lived here over 20 years ago
but the village has tripled in size
and maybe, just maybe,
a contributory factor,
is that they still let cars park all over the beach!

Coillte have ruined the paths in the forestry near Culleton's Gap in Wexford .@wexfordcoco The paths used be fairly smooth. Could the huge rubble that has been spread on the paths after they recently cut trees be rolled flat? People twisting ankles & difficult to push buggies.
It's amazing the places a bicycle can take you.
