This building on Redcliffe Wharf was built from 1909-12 as warehouse for a nearby grain mill.
It is an early example of a building made of reinforced concrete but with a red brick facade - meaning it was relatively cheap to build yet handsome and in keeping with its surroundings.

One of the oldest buildings on Sunderland's River Wear waterfront – the Roseline Building on Wylam Wharf is a Grade II-listed late 18th-century former bonded warehouse. Floodlit at night, it is probably looking at its best ever!

I tried taking the picture of the one in Boston, which is more like a wharf warehouse. A security guard approached me and told me to delete my pics. Boston paranoia. The Aqua Teen Hunger Force art was called in as possible bombs around the same time.
