Update: The venue manager has rang us and told us we can't do this as it's her livelihood on the line. Alice is in tears because she won't be able to dance with her dad on her wedding day.

This is really shit. #WhatAboutWeddings
I'm having dancing at my wedding on the 2nd of July. And I'm having canapes. If guests want to wear masks thats fine, but I'm not forcing them to.

If it costs me ten grand, then so be it.

My brother (23) & his GF (22) have just booked their first vaccine, which means that by July 2nd, the only guests at our wedding without some sort of vaccine protection will be our Page Boy (2) & Flower Girl (4). Everyone who needs it has long since double jabbed.

Let us dance.

Can somebody please show me the science behind this absolute nonsense? Since when did dancing or standing up with a drink spread Covid? Because if thats true then we're fucked since Sterling's opener yesterday... #WhatAboutWeddings

I was on @BBCYork breakfast with @spanswicktweets this morning talking about my upcoming wedding and the wider issue of the struggles facing the wedding industry.

Give it a listen from 1 hour 37 on! #WhatAboutWeddings @UKweddingsOrg
