I am from the school of letting the socks be mismatched. Either choice is okay
Hand-dyed yarn, wool and nylon. I let the color seques just happen rather than have them be identical

Woke up sick 🤒 so it's a day of couch knitting 🧶 (was going to be anyway). I'm reknitting the sleeves on this Brick sweater in Lettlopi. I knit 3/4 sleeves initially, which looked cute but made no sense with such warm yarn. Going to add length too. #knitting #lettlopi #knitsky #whatsonmyneedles

Welp. It is a Monday.

#WhatsOnMyNeedles? Same #ScyllaShawl, same row as last time. Frogged 6 rows of 800sts ea. Reknit. Need more depth: 1/2 day mapping more stripes. Knit 24 rows. They didn’t work. Frogged *those* this morning. 🤷‍♀️

I finally have something for this week's #showmeyourknits! This is #whatsonmyneedles: the start of the Slip it Simple sock and the start of a cardigan that I am making up as I go.

All current yarn I'm using for these is dyed by me, but I will have some on the sweater from Universal Yarn.
An up close photo of the cuff and start of the body of a sock. The yarn is various shades of tan and brown with red and green speckles. A variegated darker purple yarn is knit with a 4x4 robbing for a relaxed textural difference on the bottom hemline of a cardigan. The first color of the sweater body is a lighter, more lavender purple in garter stitch.

A simple 2x2 rib with some left over 50/50 merino/silk fingering, a scarf or cowl depending on how much yarn I really have. Size 9 needles for loose texture and my hands are a little achy today #knitting #whatsonmyneedles #EFAyarn
