I once a long time ago ordered whitebait (or some posh synonym for whitebait). Not only did I unwrap the little muslin bag the lemon came in before squeezing it, but I also didn’t eat the fish heads. I still sometimes wake up, bolt upright, in embarrassment and horror.

As bad as Singal is, he's whitebait. This doesn't inspire confidence for when far-right actors of *much* greater fame, with more institutional connections, come trying the same trick over here. The playbook for cutting them off at the knees has to be drafted now.
You will have to deal with hundreds of “hammer explosions” moments when even more controversial or openly bigoted figures join the site because users will have stopped reporting posts and go straight to threats or worse. Just enforce the TOS now before this snowballs.
