Oof. I did not like Prom Queen. Lacking in thrills, story, and characters. It felt paint by numbers and I figured out the whodunit and the whydunit almost immediately. The kills are sometimes gory, sure, but they misunderstand why 1994, etc., worked. 🍞As a fan of Calibre, I'm very disappointed.

I did indeed! Unfortunately, I already knew the murderer's identity, but still very much enjoyed the story as a "howdunit" and "whydunit" rather than a whodunit. 🙂

Really incredible story unraveling in this thread, where Amazon and other sites have seemingly been able to sell an academic textbook that was withdrawn in 2021 and never actually printed or published, without the knowledge of the press, editors or contributors. Something has gone deeply wrong!
