I compared the specs of the GameCube to the Wii, for no reason and here’s the results:
Wii CPU clock 50% faster
Wii GPU clock 50% faster
Wii main memory Roughly doubled
Overall performance: Approximately 1.5×GameCube
The Wii is basically a GameCube on steroids.
