Ah, yes, it would be nice to get them on here. I have written to the city and council to ask them to come over to Bluesky, a few actually have! I will write to DriveBc WildfireBc BCHydro etc and ask them too!

Fire suppression should be one of @governmentofbc.bsky.social priorities. With climate change and stupid humans (20 of the fires in BC are human caused) this is only going to get worse.

On a more contentious note, I'll weigh in here from my 12 years of time with WildFireBC.

Human starts are not always intentional - it's roughly a 1/3 that are, 1/3 that are reported by another (guilt, shame, fear), and about 1/3 the source reports.
